Lapse in blogging

It has been awhile since I blogged. Almost a week.

Mark and I enjoyed our time away at the Annual Conference. It was a wonderful time. During our first session the Orlando Symphony Orchestra was there. They spread out the sits so they sat with us. The speaker related the workings of an orchestra to that of a business or a team. They were all extremely talented musicians and it was a wonderful session.

We also got to hear Erin Gruwell speak. It was as great as we had thought it would be. It was neat to hear about what the Freedom Writers are still doing. Erin is a great educator and has reached out to so many students. Her speech was very inspirational.

We were very excited to get home to the kids on Friday. They had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa and Kelly and the boys.

Saturday the girls started Impact Cheerleading. This will keep us busy, but it is great exercise for them. Emily is working hard to make a certain squad. I love to see her determination.

I have hardly taken any pictures since we returned, so thought I would post some old ones.

Katie is learning to feed herself. As you can see from the 2 pictures below...she has a long way to go.

Ty is in need of a haircut. It is so long that we can't even get the bathtime mohawk to stand up properly! Maybe this week we can fit in a trip to the barber shop.

Have a great week! Emily and Sarah are updating their blogs tomorrow. (Easy way to sneak in some extra writing practice. :) ) They love comments if you have a moment.
